Separate the profile directories

Claude Code supports distinct configuration directories, and Codex can run with a separate home directory. That keeps credentials and local session state from colliding. Use clear names such as work and personal rather than relying on memory.

Launch each CLI with the matching directory every time. A tracker cannot correct a task that was started under the wrong account.

Show one ring per account

A combined “Claude” total hides which subscription is close to its limit. Super Notchy discovers conventional additional Claude and Codex profile directories and gives each account its own ring, reset windows, and activity row.

Respect the organizational boundary

Usage is only one reason to keep accounts separate. Company code, retention rules, and approved providers may differ from personal projects. Label the terminal profile, repository, and tracker row consistently.

Check the account before a long run and review the reset time after it. That small habit prevents both quota confusion and accidental cross-account work.
