1. About these terms

These terms govern the purchase and use of Super Notchy from Amit Arora. Contact: [email protected]. Effective date: September 22, 2026.

Review these terms before purchasing. The checkout must present the final terms and purchase details before accepting payment. Nothing in these terms removes rights that applicable consumer law does not allow to be waived.

2. The app and supported environment

Super Notchy is a macOS utility that displays supported AI-provider usage, reset windows, and agent or local-model activity near a screen edge. The current macOS offer requires macOS 15 or later and supports Apple silicon and Intel. Availability of a reading depends on the provider, account, sign-in, and feature configuration.

The purchase does not include subscriptions, inference credits, API usage, or services from Anthropic, OpenAI, or any other provider. You remain responsible for those accounts, charges, and terms.

3. The $39 lifetime offer

The advertised offer is a one-time payment of $39 USD for lifetime access to Super Notchy. It is not a recurring Super Notchy subscription. Applicable taxes, if any, must be disclosed before payment.

Lifetime access means a perpetual right to use the purchased app under its applicable license, rather than access that expires at the end of a monthly or annual billing period. It does not guarantee that a third-party provider, API, macOS version, or externally hosted service will remain available or compatible forever.

One purchase activates Super Notchy on up to three Macs that you own or control. Deactivating a Mac from Settings frees that seat for another. The licence is personal to the purchaser and may not be resold or transferred. All updates to Super Notchy are included.

4. Delivery and payment

Checkout shows the seller, the price, any tax, and the payment method before you pay. After successful payment the download and an activation code are supplied as described below.

Checkout provider: ThriveCart handles checkout; the seller and merchant of record is Amit Arora, and payment is taken by the payment processor connected to ThriveCart. Delivery method: the app is downloaded from supernotchy.com, and an activation code is emailed to the purchase address as soon as payment completes — entering that email and code in the app activates it. Payment is collected by ThriveCart at checkout, not on this website.

5. Refunds

You may request a full refund within 30 calendar days of purchase by contacting [email protected] with your order reference and purchase email. Refunds are returned through the original payment method, subject to the payment provider’s processing. The complete 30-day refund policy forms part of these terms.

Statutory cancellation, refund, and other consumer rights apply in addition to this policy where required by law.

6. Your use and provider accounts

Use the app only with accounts, devices, and data you are authorized to access. You are responsible for keeping your computer and provider accounts secure. Do not misuse another person’s credentials, interfere with services, bypass lawful access restrictions, or misrepresent a reading as a provider’s guaranteed billing record.

You choose which providers to enable and may need to renew a provider sign-in in its original tool. The app does not grant additional provider quota or override a provider’s limits.

7. Integrations, updates, and availability

Some integrations rely on provider interfaces, locally stored data, or endpoints that can change. A reading may be delayed, stale, incomplete, or unavailable. The provider’s own account and billing records remain authoritative. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to every integration or a particular result from using the app.

Updates may change features or integrations. Updates to Super Notchy are included with the lifetime purchase. Automatic update behavior can be controlled through the app settings where available.

8. Intellectual property and open-source software

Super Notchy and its materials include original and third-party components. The applicable open-source licenses and notices continue to govern those components, and nothing in these terms limits rights granted by those licenses. Provider names and marks belong to their respective owners. Super Notchy is an independent app and is not endorsed by or affiliated with those providers.

Super Notchy is built on Codenotch (MIT) and also includes Codenotch Windows (MIT), Sparkle (MIT), SwiftNIO and Apple’s Swift packages (Apache-2.0), Zstandard (BSD-3-Clause), and Lobe Icons (MIT). The full text of each licence and notice ships inside the app under Settings → General → Acknowledgements, as those licences require. The rest of Super Notchy is licensed to you for use under these terms; it is not open-source software.

9. Responsibility and consumer protections

We will exercise the care required by applicable law in supplying the app. The service depends in part on software and services outside our control. You should maintain appropriate backups and verify important usage, billing, and account decisions directly with the relevant provider.

No exclusion or limitation in these terms applies where it would be unlawful, including any non-waivable consumer guarantees or liability that applicable law requires us to accept.

10. Changes, disputes, and contact

Changes to the terms will be dated and communicated as required. Changes are not intended to retroactively remove an already purchased lifetime license or the refund terms that applied to an order.

Please contact us first about an issue so it can be addressed. Governing law and any dispute venue, subject to mandatory consumer rights: the laws of the State of Texas, United States, and the state or federal courts located in Texas. This draft does not impose mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver.
